While playing games, the computer stopped working and a loud buzzing sound came through my headphones. I had to press the power button to turn it off. When I tried to restart, the motherboard, GPU, RAM, and external LED strips lit up, but I didn’t get any signal to my monitor or keyboard power. It seems like the issue isn’t being transmitted. Please suggest some solutions, and I’ll check again after my surgery.
I’d assess the setup by removing the system CPU cooler from the CPU end, checking the thermal paste, then taking the GPU out, RAM out, and storage out to the bare essentials needed for BIOS posting. Likely just the CPU, a small amount of RAM, and the motherboard. Gradually add components until a fault appears. Look for any signs of damage, corrosion, or overheating.
