I own a computer I was working on with my cousin to try selling for money. It starts up but doesn’t display anything and lacks a graphics card. The cables are fine, though—it’s still being fixed until it finally works!

Start with a reliable power supply before moving forward.

I uses integrated graphics which means it should work with the connector on the back of the motherboard. If no video comes out, I'll reset the CMOS memory and replace the battery. Then I'll verify the power supply is functioning. A 500W PSU is sufficient for this project, though dead capacitors could be an issue. Also, ensure the power switch operates correctly—over time contacts can corrode and dust may block them. Good luck!

I can confirm this more clearly. I know it has been started, it appears on the network, and I’ve verified the cable and display work properly on another device. The PC was purchased directly, and there were no prior issues reported. This is essentially a $50 system.

When thoroughly cleaned and put back in place, it can be sold for a minimum of $100. However, the outcome depends on market conditions, and interest is higher for older Windows systems compared to Linux.

The monitor and cable I tested were the same ones I used before, but they didn’t produce any output. Since I’m in a developing region, this setup should be very profitable.

The computer started fine after my cousin powered it up, but it told me there wasn’t an operating system to load. I wanted to set up Windows 10.

I haven't attempted to reset the CMOS memory yet, so I'll do that tomorrow morning after waking up. Thanks for reminding me—I really appreciate it.
