I just installed Windows normally and then experienced an issue where the screen went black after a few starts, followed by booting into BIOS without recognizing the hard drive. No power loss occurred during the update. I've changed the BIOS settings and checked various guides, but nothing has helped. I suspect it might be a BIOS configuration problem rather than a hardware failure. I plan to bring it to a repair shop for diagnostics before the end of today. The notebook is an Asus UX360U.

I mainly experimented with secure boot, CSM, and various boot methods like fast boot and PXE OpROM. Testing different settings and combinations seemed to yield similar results.

With the right skills and another machine, I’d execute a program named hard disk sentinel on the hard drive. I’ve used Windows before to flash drives for work, which means we don’t need to disassemble laptops just to inspect the drive. This could be a useful troubleshooting method if you lack the tools or are worried about damaging something.

I'm not familiar with that tool. Could you share a link or some guidance? I've encountered issues with Windows installation where the installer can't find the drive. Let me know if you need help troubleshooting!

What a fixed? I'm facing the sales issue now. When I connected my USB to install Windows, it didn't show up. Sad
