I own an Asus Strix Z270E equipped with an internal Qualcomm Wi-Fi adapter. The connection starts functioning at boot but then fails after a short time, seemingly resetting Windows settings along with it. Settings usually restore, yet the Wi-Fi remains unstable until the system restarts. This issue began after moving to a new residence; previously, CenturyLink routers worked flawlessly. I've performed multiple drive formats and Windows reinstalls—both partial repairs and complete wipes. Tried turning the device on/off, updated drivers from another forum, but nothing resolves the problem. Any assistance in getting this machine operational would be highly valued!

It seems like the adapter or driver isn't working properly. You've already tested many options and aren't investing further effort. Consider switching to a different WiFi adapter or swapping out the existing one on the motherboard. For the adapter side, PCI cards tend to be more dependable than USB versions. If you're replacing the WiFi module, you can often find compatible alternatives with the same size on the motherboard. I plan to do the same with my SFF's MSI board by installing an Intel AX200 (cheap WiFi-6 module).
