Device detection incomplete.
Hey! I’m glad you’re here to clarify this. So, you’re using Windows 11 with 128GB RAM, DDR4, and 2666MHz memory. The issue is that Windows thinks it can only detect four of the eight slots. But your CPU-Z says it can see almost everything. Are you missing something or is there a misunderstanding? This setup sounds like a recent purchase—definitely worth checking.
Give them a test with 1-2 RAM sticks at a time to check which one works best. Also, look at the labels on the RAM sticks—maybe one is 4 GB or something confusing.
"This didn't work." I meant there was no issue with the RAM and all the sticks were 16GB.
Cleaning the slots and verifying if your CPU can handle that many RAM channels, plus checking the gold connector on the RAM as well
Team blue isn't significantly worse than AMD, just around 50% of the specs. Does the CPU really back that many RAM sticks?
But does the CPU really handle that many RAM sticks? Full details, yes. I spent some time testing and adjusting—used the i9 1080X with a cleaned RAM, as recommended. In BIOS it lists 64GB, but CPU-Z and other tools now show 128GB. Also, following Newcast’s advice helped; all RAM was checked and properly seated. Thanks everyone!
