It's 3200, DDR means double data rate. The display shows the 1600MHz DR frequency. Make sure to download Cpu-z, enter the memory settings, and note the DR frequency—remember to double it since it's double data rate.

It seems like the display is showing 1600mHz while it's actually running at 3200mHz. That makes sense given the recent BIOS update. Your experience of not having any issues since then is likely accurate.
