It seems like the issue might be with the motherboard instead of the CPU.

Initiated the return procedure. While handling the item under a light and using a magnifying glass, I noticed a slightly bent pin. I purchased it new, but found an open box with the ESD bag still open. A bit of frustration, but at least I’m prepared for the next attempt. Uncertain if I’d choose AMD and MSI again.

I don’t mind if you stop buying MSI, but keep them around. I really like AMD—they don’t charge such high prices for GPUs. You probably know who I’m referring to.

Sure, I'm here again...the Asus TUF board seems to have issues with the first two slots. Did I ruin the CPU? I'm fine with having two slots now.
