Last night I switched cases and everything seemed okay until now my RAM only displayed 16GB (I had 32GB installed). It functioned properly before the change. I removed one stick and it showed up as 24GB... anyone know about this? CPU: Ryzen 7 3800x GPU: Gtx 1080ti MSI 12GB Motherboard: gigabyte Aorus Pro X570 RAM: 32GB Hyperx Predator 3200MHz DDR4 *Note* this is my first post. It could be a faulty memory card. Test each one individually. If they function independently, the slot might be damaged.
I noticed the behavior matches one of the channels. When only b1 is connected, the stick appears; with just b2, it doesn’t show. Swapping them confirmed it wasn’t the sticks themselves.
I just tested b2 independently without any in b1 or the A channel, and it’s working now. It appears to fail only when RAM is connected to A while both RAM sticks are in B1 and B2, but it functions normally when RAM is in A1 and A2.

I gave the CPU cooler a little nudge, then reinserted the RAM one by one while booting each time. Now everything is showing up properly. I think the CPU wasn’t seated correctly before and it’s now in the right position. Thanks a lot, @Eigenvektor!
