Hey there, friend. I've been having trouble with my main gaming PC for a while now. It seems like whenever the system is idle and the monitor goes to sleep, it stops responding completely. I tried everything—pressing the mouse or keyboard, turning the power button a few times, reseating the cable, even switching the monitor on and off—but nothing works. Now I have to force a hard reboot for it to come back online.

I've read about some solutions online, like using monitor auto-detect, enabling PCI Express power-saving mode, or updating firmware for DisplayPort. But I'm still not sure what's really causing the issue. My test bench uses an old Dell monitor that doesn't auto-detect, and I manually set up all inputs. The specs are pretty high-end, but it just won't pick itself up.

Could someone help me figure out what might be going wrong? Your advice would mean a lot.

I might have discovered the configuration for my primary gaming PC's AutoSourceSwitch+ on the Samsung Neo G8, yet I remain intrigued about the testing setup.

Examine the BIOS swiftly, I've noticed odd configurations tied to the machine starting from USB input, plus Windows power settings affecting USB devices.

I’ll check the USB configurations in the BIOS settings too. This could provide useful details, and the test bench has been regularly overclocked—currently running around 4.5GHz, though I’ve pushed it higher to about 5GHz recently.

I’m not certain about the impact; it’s a possibility, but I can’t confirm. Also check for any available bios updates.

Deep sleep S5 was turned on while others were off, which likely caused the issue. Thanks!
