Device cannot access the network.
I relocated my PC to the dorm room and now it refuses to join any network, showing "can’t connect to this network." I've tested it on two different networks and even used a mobile hotspot, but sometimes it connects fully then drops. I've also watched YouTube repair videos without success.
I need the necessary information and specifics to assist you effectively.
system includes i5 12600k with asrock b660m-ITX/ac rtx 4060, 32gb nvme 750w, gold psu. network setup appears in wifi section but connection fails, dropping to 1 bar and terminating.
Assume you're missing the Wi-Fi router connection? Perform a network reset on your device via https://windowsloop.com/reset-network-se...indows-11/
You can restart the router to check for improvements. Ensure your drivers, particularly the chipset and Wi-Fi components, are current. If the issue continues, consider turning off your built-in Wi-Fi and connecting via a Wi-Fi dongle. If this doesn’t resolve it, the problem may lie with Windows itself. There might be a corruption in the networking settings. Hope this helps.
I’ve looked into it all, but I don’t have a WiFi adapter. I reinstalled Windows from an USB drive, yet it’s still not working.
The antenna is positioned correctly following the relocation.
