It just started the flash process and showed "bios upgrade is processing." I'm unsure if I should keep it running or turn it off—it warns not to shut it down. It's a new computer and this hasn't happened before. Also, since nothing was installed for the flash, it just appeared and said it's updating, but it doesn't seem to be moving forward.

I wasn't aware of that. I assumed they needed prompts and authorization. It looks risky if it updates automatically without proper checks. If it works fine, don't try to fix it—at least that's what I was advised for BIOS that isn't a dual-chip system.
