Hey, Sorry that it’s so much to read! Last summer I was gifted an old server. Back then, I had trouble installing Ubuntu, since it just didn‘t want to boot from the USB-drive it was installed on. Then I was lucky and somehow I could boot into Ubuntu. The Problem was the drive was only 16GB. So I bought some random 64GB USB drive but I didn‘t check its speed and it was so slow, installing Ubuntu took multiple hours. After it finished, guess what, the server didn‘t boot from it. I was getting thrown into some „grub rescue“ immediately, even after many more reinstalls. Today I bought another 256GB drive with USB3.2, so sufficiently fast. Guess what, it didn't boot. Now I was getting thrown into Intel PXE room, apparently the server tried to boot from network instead from the drive. In the BIOS the first priority for booting was the USB drive. Do you know how I can get this shitty server to boot from this USB drive? If you need it, here are infos about the server: -2x 2683v4 -Intel Server Board S2600CWR (LGA-2011-3) -96GB RAM -Connected to the internet via Ethernet
