I'm a somewhat seasoned PC assembler, yet I'm still struggling to get this system up and running. System specs: CPU - Ryzen 7 5800XT, Motherboard - MSI B550 Pro-VDH, RAM - G.Skill Ripjaws 32GB (4 x 8 GB), Storage - Western Digital Black SN770 2TB M.2, GPU - ASUS ROG STRIX GAMING OC RTX 3060, Case - Lian Li A3-mATX, Power supply - Lian LI SP 750, essentially. When I powered it on, nothing happened—no fans, no response. The motherboard is delivering power, but the MOBO isn't turning on. I've swapped the PSU to EVGA and SAMA without fixing anything, changed the CPU to Ryzen 5 3600, updated the case, tried different RAM sticks, moved to another outlet, used a paperclip test on the PSU, manually bridged power, removed the CMOS battery for five minutes, and even checked for shorts. The screws on the case seem different from the MOBO’s, so I’m planning to adjust the standoffs and mounting points. This has been going on about four days, and I really hope I don’t need to order more components. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Review the count of standoffs versus holes in the MBO card. Bent pins on the CPU socket affect the cooler. I once adjusted a cooler screw stop and it prevented the PC from booting. The mounting points aren't clear since you didn't mention the cooler model. Smart folks will arrive soon to assist you. In the meantime, keep trying the suggestions above.
