The Google Mesh base station is linked to a specific model and setup. Mesh nodes are spaced according to the configuration, typically on different floors with some walls separating them. Use the free WiFi Analyzer app to perform a wireless survey and capture channel data for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.
