The update seems to have changed how files are managed, leaving a strange F drive with unknown contents. Hidden file visibility is enabled, but nothing appears. It’s unclear what it contains or if removing it is safe on Windows 10.

Check the EFI or Microsoft Reserved partition. Launch Disk Management via Windows key & X, then delete the drive letter from those partitions.

I can't remove it, I just formatted it but nothing significant changed except 400mb of my SSD space being released. It looks like part of it is still on my SSD.

these sections are typically generated for backup media in case you ever require a restore. you might need to employ diskpart to delete it.

Open Regedit with admin rights Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices Search for the "DosDevices\F:" entry and remove it Reboot the machine
