I'm halfway through developing an Android app for students. Before moving on, I'm creating two versions: one tailored for high school and another for general users. The high school version will mostly match the general app but with adjustments for our specific requirements. It functions as a student planner, focusing on reminding users about upcoming events and assignments while also facilitating communication between students and teachers. For instance, teachers can manage accounts and send notifications to students. I already have a presentation to showcase progress; you can view it here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1...sp=sharing. The school's logo features our falcon mascot, and the general app's logo is still under refinement. Please share any ideas or feedback—your input is valuable. EDIT: The app follows Material Design guidelines; feel free to add comments or suggestions.

It seems like you're referencing a design style and wondering about the purpose behind it.

You could set up a collaborative notes area. This way, group work or when someone is missing, everyone can access the same information.

I really enjoy material design, but achieving that look was quite challenging. It took me a week to develop the Java and XML code, then another week refining the user interface. From what I've learned, creating something is simple, but making it both attractive and user-friendly is tough. The friends list concept stood out to me—I hadn't considered it at first, but adding one would be great. If anyone has ideas on the design or functionality, I'd really appreciate it!
