I've been playing this game and it's happening to me regularly. Every ten minutes or so, the app crashes. After it freezes, I can still hear the audio but the screen just stops. If I press alt+tab, I see a blank main menu. Eventually, the system window will tell me the app isn't responding. My setup is an i9-9900kf with RTX 3070 and 16GB RAM.

Are crashes occurring throughout the game or mainly in the Fugitives chapter, particularly after cutting the fence? It usually happened when trying to enter the Mind Palace right after the fence was removed (RMB). The solution was to pause briefly before accessing the MP. Updates 1.0 and 2.0 fixed crashes in that section, though.

Also, the new 3000 series GPUs might require driver adjustments for certain titles.

Check if your 3070 drivers are current. Do you prefer a clean install by removing via DDU in safe mode, then installing through the desktop? Also, if RT is active, are you using DLSS 2.0 or just playing without it?

I'm experiencing the same issue with my i3 10100f, 1650 super, and 16GB RAM... it doesn't seem like the 3080 is causing crashes.

Have you all installed the hotfix driver? Version 461.33 seems to resolve the crashing problems with Detroit. I haven't tried it myself yet, but it's worth a try.
