Hey everyone, I'm facing an issue with my GeForce RTX 2070 WINDFORCE 2X in a Zalman S2 case. It comes with the included fan, plus two Arctic P12 fans. Despite that, the GPU still throttles at high temps—up to 80°C+. The front two fans are running at full speed, and the back case fan is also at 100%. I've checked and found the GPU isn't overly dirty, just a light dust layer. To keep things stable, I need to crank the fans up to 90% or more, but after a while of gaming it goes over. My room stays around 20-22°C, and the other components like my Ryzen 7 2700 CPU are cool thanks to the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition. The GPU's core clock stays steady between 1850 and 1790, but it's still above the advertised 1620. I just want it to stay within a comfortable range so I can use it without overheating. I purchased it brand new around 2019, recalling it being from the 1970s when I first acquired it. At the time, I didn’t use it much because I believed that was typical for an air-cooled unit. However, I think it was likely from the 1970s, and now it’s running at 80 even after just 10 minutes of playtime under something like BF4.
