I'm looking into whether my PC can support gigabit Ethernet with fiber internet. Can anyone help identify the jack speed on the motherboard? For the Asustek P7H55-M LX with an i7-860 CPU, it might be worth checking the specifications.

It supports a 1 Gbps connection, handling both download and upload speeds...anything else you'd like clarified?

Realtek seems unreliable; they often omit chipset names, which is why the RTL8112L appears to be based on RTL8111 yet isn't even listed on their drivers site. The RTL8125 looks like a 2.5Gbit model, so this device is definitely Gigabit—though it seems unclear how you came across the 2.5Gbit spec. It would be surprising if any current motherboard supports less than that speed. A Gigabit NIC should function in a 2.5Gbit port, but only up to 1.0Gbit as noted in your screenshot.
