I checked some sites about memory boosters and saw prices around $100. For your needs, aim for a balance—enough RAM for smooth performance without overspending. If you're into games like Minecraft, Rocket League, Overwatch, and Valorant, ensure your system has at least 16GB or more to handle multitasking and updates.

Consider 3000 MHz or 3200 MHz for DDR4. Aim for CAS latency between 16 and 18. Choose the RAM size you want. I recommend two 8GB sticks totaling 16GB. Look for the lowest price option, prioritizing good appearance without a heat spreader. If your case has visible side panels, clear visuals matter; otherwise, heat spreaders aren't essential. (Focus on price, you can find cheap memory without one, but quality often includes a decent heat spreader.)

It depends on the memory capacity you need. With about 8GB and performance around 3000-3200, you can expect roughly $40-60, plus an additional $20 for 16GB. Keep in mind this applies to a dual-channel configuration of 2*4 and 2*8 slots. You might save by buying in packs like 1*8 or 1*16, but dual-channel is essential for modern CPUs if you don’t plan to upgrade soon.

I was considering about 8 gigabytes right now since I won't be playing many high-end titles.

Most games in 2018-2019 still lean toward 16, which remains a reasonable idea. Be sure to shut down any unnecessary background programs before launching a game.

I located some sticks of RAM for roughly eighty dollars. They offer 2x8 GB of memory and operate at 3000 MHz.

I can help you verify your decision, but I don’t have a direct way to link it for confirmation. Let me know how you’d like to proceed!

16GB is the better choice. If you skip getting a second stick, the experience in any game will be... poor... and many older games now require at least 8GB.

I placed an order for the XPG Z1 DDR4 3000MHz (PC4 24000) 16GB module with two 8GB units (AX4U300038G16-DRZ) on Amazon.com. Your support was invaluable—I wouldn’t have found this without these communities.

At the age of 80, you can locate a Crucial Ballistix set. Sometimes Adata's component provider isn't reliable.
