You can try increasing your CPU and GPU clock speeds to boost performance, but be aware that pushing them too high may cause instability or crashes. Make sure your system is stable before attempting overclocking, and consider using software like HWMonitor or MSI Afterburner for monitoring and adjustments.

The processor isn't overclockable. Do you have a graphics card installed, such as an Nvidia or AMD Radeon model? Without it, Fortnite would only operate at 720p with the lowest settings and below 30 frames per second, based on a quick test.

Using only integrated graphics causes poor performance, even when lowering the settings. Note that theoretically you can enable FSB and BCLK overclocking, but they're not advised and won't improve Fortnite's speed enough.

Sure, I understand you're preparing a lot. It might help to check out discussion boards for a while to boost your skills. For now, an i3 from the 2010s feels pretty outdated compared to a newer model like an A6 or A12.

Want to improve your PC? Start by checking its performance and updating software. Ensure hardware is up-to-date, clean dust from components, and consider upgrading RAM or storage if needed.

We mentioned this before in another post. Your current setup isn’t strong enough for Fortnite, and with your available funds you won’t be able to achieve your goals. The suggestion was to save up.
