I hope you can understand my build. I was just wondering if a 520w would be sufficient for comfortable use and overclocking when needed. Overall, I’m really happy with what I chose. I’m also curious—will I need fans for the system, or will the liquid cooling I selected be enough? Your help with these two points would be very useful in clarifying what else I’ll require. The monitor motherboard, RAM, and I7 CPU are all set, and I’m satisfied with the keyboard. I already own a gaming mouse.

Also Asus 1060 6G should suffice for it, my monitor costs 412$ and runs at 180hz from Asus 1080p. The motherboard I’m interested in is really good, I liked it. A 100$ one would be fine for the job, but the 400$ one from Asus is excellent. I’m also purchasing an I7-7700 306$, and I think a solid CPU is just as crucial as a good GPU. However, those options where my power consumption is cheap (30$) claim to deliver 520w, so I thought it would be perfect, though I was a bit unsure about overclocking.

Experience shared by Ryan Smith features an overclocked GTX 1060 and Intel Core i7-4960X running at 4.2GHz, consuming around 295 watts during intense gaming sessions. Thanks to the PSU's efficiency, the real power draw is closer to 265 watts. A quality 450-watt unit should suffice, though a 550-watt system provides extra headroom for future upgrades. Focus on selecting a reliable PSU with more than 450 watts for optimal performance.

Thank you mate ,but will the 520w will be efficient enough I know you said 550w at least for future reference ,but I'm just curious at least for the moment a 520w will be more then enough?. Thank you my regards Tzvetan Tzvetanov

The PSU can only deliver up to 480w at 12v. It doesn't have great quality (just acceptable), and I think you should invest more in both the build and hardware for this budget. The PSU is crucial for the system, so cutting costs here isn't wise. I recommend considering a Bitfenix whisper M, Corsair RMx, EVGA G2, or EVGA G3. Also, you might want to spend a bit less on the motherboard.

Thank you for your suggestions. I was considering an MSI Z270 M7 for 203$ instead of the Asus 389$, and I appreciate the PSU recommendation too. Would there be anything else you'd like me to look into? I really enjoy the monitor I chose, but I might explore other options after completing my build. I’ll share more details once everything is ready.
