They're releasing 10TB storage units, so grab four of them! And for gamers, I'd opt for a 250GB SSD since new titles are consuming more and more room.

For future use, it seems better to opt for a mid-range model since understanding their speed will make you eager to add more devices.

I store around 160GB, with the remainder on a separate hard drive. Keep in mind, I run multiple browsers, most Autodesk programs, Cinema 4D, and the full Creative Cloud suite, plus the regular Windows setup.
