Determine if the noise is coil whine.
In short, I recently installed a new GPU (RX 6700 XT) and have encountered an issue. When launching a video game, especially during loading screens, a loud buzzing noise begins and the screen flickers rapidly. This behavior started a few hours after installation and resembles "GPU coil whine." Attempts to record the sound failed—the audio disappears when pressing Alt+F4. Volume adjustment makes it audible at the start. The flicker is visible on the monitor, and I can easily hear it through my headphones. It’s not my PC’s fan noise (it’s coming from another room). I have HyperX Cloud II headphones with good noise cancellation, but I can still detect this annoying sound. I understand coil whine is normal, yet this is extremely loud. Could the power supply unit be the cause?
I also shared this link: https://forums. I think it's related to the GPU, but I'm testing a different approach.
