When I power on the monitor, the screen begins to flicker and gradually disappears into white before reappearing after roughly thirty seconds. Once it stops working, I can turn it off and on again. This issue only occurs when I switch monitors, not during video playback or gaming. It doesn’t happen at startup, but it does with another monitor. The device is VGA, and I own a 5500XT model that lacks a VGA port, so I use a VGA cable with an HDMI adapter. Currently, I’m using a new HDMI cable without an adapter on the TV monitor. Could this setup be causing the problem?
Yes, the monitor supports connectivity with another PC through compatible protocols like HDMI or DisplayPort.
I believe the monitor might be having an issue, not the GPU or the adapter. Perhaps a fix could come from something else here.
