Hello, I just changed my CPU and motherboard. I have two 12V connectors—EATX12V_1 and EATX12V_2 with 8 and 4 pins respectively. My power supply only has an 8-pin connector, but it’s functioning properly now. Should I use both? What’s the benefit of upgrading the PSU?

It seems you're referring to the TUF X570-Plus. You're suggesting it's unnecessary to include the additional 4-pin connector, especially if you're using ambient cooling.

The additional four pins are for heavy overclocking. If you don’t plan to overclock, just use the eight-pin version.
