I have a program named FAAST that uses physical gestures with a Microst RGB camera (kine ct). It is connected and working, and I have a test set to type "JIM" when I wave. It functions in Brave browser and Notepad. However, it doesn't send inputs to apps, and I've tried different methods.

I'm trying to understand what Windows identifies as the input source for FAAST. Is there a HID device in Device Manager? Is there a diagnostic app that displays the virtual hardware sending inputs?

I've confirmed FAAST isn't hooking my applications... I need an input software that can act as a bridge.
An example of what I'm preparing... yes lol.

Ensure "Show hidden devices" is active in Device Manager under View.
This issue may persist even when using Brave browser and Notepad.
Task Manager and Process Explorer (Microsoft, free) could help identify processes running alongside the browser and Notepad that aren't sending inputs to Windows or other applications.
Process Explorer is recommended for deeper inspection.
Other potential applications might be involved, making it somewhat time-consuming to sift through all activity.
Remember that even if the camera or FASST detects gestures, Windows must correctly interpret and respond to them.
Apps need to recognize and accept the resulting signals.
For now, start by simply observing and checking what appears. Do not modify anything or install new software.
