I understand your point. For a family friend, I used a SeaSonic M12II 520 on both the original and newer setups. The power supply changed from supporting a 60-watt GPU to one for a 250-watt GPU. I bought it in December 2017 for that same friend from NewEgg. It cost $54.90 USD, and there was even a $20 mail-in rebate, though I’m not sure if I filed it.
