Hello, your current system runs a 3 3100 with the 3.2 BIOS. You’re planning to install an R7 5800X3D and want to ensure compatibility. The Asrock official page lists supported BIOS versions as 7.40 and 8.01, but not the specific P7.30 you’re considering. This shouldn’t cause issues, but it’s good to confirm. For best results, updating to BIOS version 8.01 would be ideal. Let me know if you need more details!

7.40 probably reflects an updated bios with improvements to the launch versions, while 8.01 is a beta version but also the latest. You can pick either and it should work fine.
