Detaching the GPU from the motherboard
Attempt to raise the GPU on the same device while handling the clip. Worst case is breaking the clip, which isn’t a major issue (it happened before).
It functions similarly to the clips on the RAM, providing a reference for the force. I employ a wooden measuring tape to assess the surface beneath each part.
This video is actually a big hassle, particularly when you need to replace GPUs often. I’d probably give up if it wasn’t for me trying to sell my graphics cards because of how bothersome it is.
