Desynchronized time source.
Desynchronized time source.
Hey! Your Windows clock seems to lose time regularly, sometimes skipping half an hour or even stopping completely. I’m not sure what’s causing it, but here are a few things to consider: check the time settings on your BIOS and compare them with Windows time. Also, see if other devices or servers you use sync properly. You mentioned trying different servers and pushing the sync button—those steps usually help. If it still doesn’t work, there might be a deeper issue with your system clock or hardware. Let me know what you find!
It might be related to a CMOS battery, but you can also share the link you mentioned. The issue seems to be with Windows 7, though I’m not sure if you’re using it. Here’s the link for reference: http://www.joellipman.com/articles/micro...-sync.html
Sorry, I missed that issue before. I upgraded to Windows 8.1 yesterday and it happened on both systems. Can I locate instructions for adjusting the CMOS battery in my motherboard manual? Also, the guide didn’t really assist since I’ve done this many times. Thanks for your attempt at help—I’ll give it another try.
