Just moved to a PC and checked upcoming AAA releases—excited about titles other than COD. I was really impressed by Destiny, but then realized it’s only for consoles. There was a rumor it might appear on PC someday, but nothing confirmed yet. I’m wondering what people think about the chances of it coming out and why. Thanks, The Crazy Chicken.
I was imagining a blend of borderlands, Halo, and something else, all in one game. Bungie aims for it to endure a decade, but we all know current consoles lack the capability to sustain that long.
It seems similar issues occurred with Halo 3 too, though it's still available on Steam after all these years. No Halo 3 version for PC has been released yet.
At first, I really enjoyed the trailers and info about Destiny, but when they said it was only for consoles, I was quite surprised. It felt like a missed opportunity—PC should have been a better fit, right?
