I think I'm the only one experiencing this microstutter problem.
The frame rate stays stable most of the time, especially when there aren't many people on screen.
However, the timing between frames seems inconsistent.
My display uses freesync and it doesn’t improve the situation at all.
I’ve experimented with turning freesync on and off, adjusting V-sync settings, changing frame rate limits, and even switching my monitor to 60Hz in Windows.
Still, the microstutter remains.
It’s not completely unusable, but it makes the experience unpleasant and prevents me from enjoying the game.
FWIW:
CPU: i5 6600k
GPU: Vega 56
RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200
Right now I’m running the game on a WD Black because it’s very large, but since this issue appears even in small areas where nothing should load (like standing in an empty room), I don’t believe it’s the main problem.
Man, I spent over an hour trying to progress through Nightfall alone just to reach the boss and then get destroyed. Definitely not possible to do it alone, and the game doesn't assign me to a fire team. I think I'll have to find someone else to help me.
