I'll keep my patience until it's officially released, then consider purchasing it. My confidence in it reaching a functional state on PC is minimal, and I don't expect it to meet my expectations.

I saw this when Destiny came out. They kept going strong, but it looks like the gaming crowd isn’t thrilled.

Isn't this their initial PC launch after Halo 2, maybe around a decade ago? I could consider purchasing it if they handle it correctly.

Lastly a third game to enjoy... haha, jkjk I play different titles too. It's a shame it isn't available on Steam. The typical price is around sixty dollars, only sold on Amazon or Best Buy, and so on. Probably they don't want to pay the fifteen thousand dollars for getting it up there (assuming they can't approve it, and that Steam would charge the highest price listed for adding games).

They're likely using their own launcher instead of the Windows Store.

It was a great experience playing Destiny; I’m likely to try Destiny 2 once it becomes available through other retailers.

Big publishers often determine PC quality based on resource distribution. Poor port performance usually reflects publisher priorities rather than individual developer skill. Even talent shortages tend to stem from corporate decisions, not just technical issues. It's unlikely most Halo 2 contributors are still with Bungie long-term, as a decade at one studio is rare.

I'm not confident about it being on Steam since there were no links available. I thought about the XBOX app, but Bungie isn't owned by Microsoft, so the outcome is uncertain. Fingers crossed it doesn't get another big launch!
