I've faced this problem for a while now. My system is an 1060 with 6GB RAM, and I was using an OC with NZXT's Cam software. Destiny 2 is the only game that has caused issues. The OC was very stable for more than a year until around 10 minutes into the game, then it would crash completely. Nothing else was affected. After some hardware and software checks (I just installed a new M.2 the day it happened), I found that Cam opens cause crashes, while closing it prevents them. Someone else has reported similar behavior with MSI Afterburner. I don't have a clear reason, but this might be the solution if you're seeing crashes in Destiny 2.
