I've been exploring web desktops for some time now, as it represents a form of cloud computing where work happens remotely. What's the top choice among web desktop operating systems? Right now I'm using Symbiose on my server (details here: http://zubins-solutions.com/services/symbiose/), but its features are somewhat restricted. Is there a superior alternative you can host yourself? Additionally, what are your thoughts on web desktops overall? Do you have experience with them, and do you think they'll remain relevant as technologies like Chromebooks gain traction?
