The main issue is clearly described. While enjoying Just Cause 3, my game unexpectedly crashes to the desktop after roughly 20 minutes of play. The timing isn’t consistent, and I can’t identify the exact cause. The error message reads DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG. I’ve already attempted to remove all GPU drivers using DDU and reinstall the newest ones, but it hasn’t helped. Ideally, I’d like a fix without reverting drivers since Ansel is now included in the latest release, though I’m open to rolling back if necessary. Hardware: GTX 770, CPU: i7 4770K

Check the graphics settings by disabling Screen Space. A quick search on YouTube showed a relevant video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmCWA6kv-6M

No problem. It didn't function and stopped immediately.

Update all drivers for Just Cause 3 and turn off the Steam interface. Also, disable any overlays such as those from EVGA Precision X or MSI Afterburner.

Turn off the Steam UI. What does the Steam interface refer to? You currently have only a FPS display, so you might want to disable the FPS counter as well.

Curious about whether JC3 works with DX12? Since you don’t play the game yourself, verify if it supports DX12 by checking your settings. If it does, switch it to DX11 first and compare.

It confirms support for DX12, though I’m not aware of any settings to disable it.

The game should have a setting to change to DX11.
