It depends on the laptop's capabilities. Since mine can't handle games well, I usually look up story-rich titles on YouTube. I'd love to hear any suggestions you have, @LoGiCalDrm—those recommendations would be great! Thanks for sharing your ideas!

I was curious about how someone might adjust their preferences for games based on available hardware. I can acknowledge that certain titles appeal to me, or that I’d like improved visuals, but right now time constraints outweigh resource limits. I’m open to using older models like a 280X at 120 FPS for $150, which would let me run higher-quality games than my current setup. However, I haven’t felt the need yet since most of my current games meet their requirements. Some options that work well but aren’t as demanding include Bastion & Transistor Trine 2 Dust: Elysian Tale, Rocket League Ironcast, Bloodgate (similar experience), Highlands BF3 & 4, Hearthstone, Ori and the Blind Forest, Child of Light, Overwatch, and possibly Diabotical if it gets funded. I also have Anno 2070 but can’t play it right now. Titles like Witcher 3, GTA V, Skyrim, and Mirrors Edge are strong choices for graphics, though only in genres I don’t usually play. If you have a laptop with limited power, I’d appreciate a list of games that offer good visuals when upgraded to a more capable PC later.

I’d stick to the same games I’m playing now. Just run them at higher resolutions—2560x1440, 3440x1440—and 144 frames per second. Likely with some tweaks in the .ini settings and a lot of extra forced ads whenever it’s possible.
