I would also suggest avoiding an F SKU part, unless you have a reliable GPU nearby that could serve as a short-term fix.

Your current pc seems to be showing signs of wear.
I could recommend trying the new GTX1660ti on your existing system first.
This will give you a clearer picture of the necessary upgrades.
If you don’t use your pc intensively, additional cpu power might not make much difference.
What are your main tasks for the pc?
If it’s for gaming, try this quick test with the gtx1660ti:
Play your games but reduce the resolution and visual effects.
This can help the graphics card perform better.
An increase in fps suggests your cpu is capable of handling a higher graphics setup.
If your fps remains unchanged, you’re likely limited by your cpu.
What storage device do you have?
If it’s not an SSD, you’ll be missing out on daily performance gains.
How many ram modules do you currently use?
You need two sticks in a matched set to achieve dual-channel speed.
This is important for Ryzen systems, less critical for Intel ones.
Are you concerned about having enough ram?
Do you feel the urge to upgrade right now?
Upgrading isn’t about being prepared for the future—it’s about meeting your current needs.
