Deploy Windows installation across several devices simultaneously
I found a good selection of 15 motherboards with processors, RAM, and a few new cases for around $200. I’m interested in assembling these and selling them, but I’m curious about the most affordable way to install Windows 10 across all of them. I’ve only assembled one PC recently, bought Windows 10 at full price before, built a few systems in the past, and also purchased operating systems at retail. Is there a budget-friendly method for getting Windows 10 on every board? Thanks in advance!
You might keep Windows unactivated and let it operate for up to 30 days or longer without problems. It’s possible to search for Windows 7 licenses on eBay, since older systems usually don’t run well with Windows 10. You should still be able to use those activation keys to unlock a Windows 10 version (though it would be tied to that particular machine). The page suggests using a PC manufacturer. You must sign up with Microsoft to access the OEM package. Installing it can be very complicated. Check the support site for details. The documentation provides guidance on deployment. I don't think 15 systems are worth the time and effort. My two cents.
I’m fetching several Linux distributions in this manner so you can verify the system works well. They can upgrade to a more advanced version, and I’ll set up a fresh Windows installation afterward. Thanks all!
