denuvo seems to be struggling significantly. crack rates are rising quickly across multiple titles, from early days to recent releases. some games got cracked within days, and even a major one like fifa 18 was cracked in under a day. it’s surprising how fast this is happening, especially considering the time it took to crack fifa 17 after nearly a year. steampunks and cpy are currently gaining momentum in this trend.
The main issue is understanding how it works. Earlier, they discovered a method to bypass the protection without actually damaging it. The team behind breaking Spyro: Year of the Dragon managed to circumvent the system, likely using similar techniques Denuvo employs. It seems like a temporary fix, but I doubt these individuals are purely selfless. It wouldn’t be surprising if their solutions include hidden code that benefits them financially.
Total War: WarHammer II was cracked in just 12 hours, possibly even faster, which shows they haven't discovered the exploit yet. Disappointing, but the cat-and-mouse tech battles keep us engaged. They need to fix this soon.
