Hey everyone, I'm using a 2019 Dell G7 7588 with an i7-8750H and NVIDIA 1060 Max-Q. At first, games ran smoothly, but this year things got really bad—constant stuttering and freezing. I checked forums and found others dealing with the same problems, like CPU throttling at around 0.8 MHz and GPU issues. ThrottleStop helped a bit, but I still face stuttering during long sessions when CPU temps hit over 90°C and the GPU temps are likely in the 90s as well. The CPU speed keeps changing during games, which is noticeable. Do you have any ideas on lowering temperatures or stabilizing speeds without sacrificing performance too much? I know the Dell G7 has a decent heat sink, but it might not be enough.

MSI Afterburner functions well with most laptop graphics cards. Although it’s commonly employed for boosting performance, it can also help reduce clock speeds or lower voltages if needed. Details about this are available there.

I've tried Afterburner, but the voltage controls are hidden, suggesting they're not editable. The same happens with Turbo ratio settings in Throttlestop, which are also grayed out.
