At my witts end. Google is not helping. I've uninstalled the entire program. I selected NO to onedrive when installing windows. And still. All my stuff. Is in c/users/name/ONEDRIVE/etc I dont WANT anything in these god awful one drive folders. I just want it to be c/users/name/documents. How do I do this, I cant move the folder out, I cant do anything, do I have to reinstall windows entirely? Its not like this on my old pc. My files are my files. No onedrive.

Based on the guidance received, I restored OneDrive, logged in, and clicked "Unlink this PC." It removed me and confirmed the action was completed. All my folders remain on OneDrive.

I attempted to relocate folders away from OneDrive, but now I encounter "Location not available!" when accessing files or images.

Successfully completed the task. For others: Download and log in to one drive. Navigate to settings, select backup. Click manage backup to see backed-up folders. If any aren't highlighted, highlight them, restart OneDrive, then return to backups. Turn everything off except your folders. You'll see a prompt saying "you won't be backing up, choose where to put your folders." Select "ONLY ON MY PC." After finishing for all, check the folder path—should read c:users:name:ONEDRIVE:documents. If not, it's correct. Go to settings → account → unlink → uninstall.

It's nice you discovered a fix, but I'm curious about the process. Please avoid creating an MS account—no issues there! A short visual guide should match Windows 11, though version 10 works fine too.
