I managed to recover Windows' default bootloader, yet a leftover partition remains on the disk, identified by your BIOS as "ubuntu." When attempting to install another Linux distribution, the process stopped because it couldn't install GRUB. Disk Management shows two partitions, one belonging to Windows. Which should you remove?

The 450Mb version is designed for Windows, while the other is tailored for the operating system.

When you remove it (450 MB), you have the option to adjust your partition size ©.
