You’d require a different system to link the drive, after which you can format it. Alternatively, you can format directly from a bootable Windows installer, as there should be an option available when choosing the disk to install.

Hey, If you have a USB boot drive or disk drive there is an option as you go on to install to delete partitions, you should do all of them and then re format the main one as a basic drive. Hope this helps, TT

You can use adapters that convert SATA/PATA ports to USB to link the drive with another device via USB. It’s recommended to perform a disk check before setting up Windows, as this might indicate the drive is failing.
