Delayed page speeds.
Recently my laptop has been running very slowly, often taking around a minute to load. The display is completely black. I’m not sure what’s causing this issue; it was much faster just a week ago, only a few seconds for loading. My system specs are: Intel Core i7-7700HQ, GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, integrated graphics, Windows installed on a 250 GB SSD with 60 GB free, plus a 1 TB external HDD with 200 GB free and 24 GB RAM at 2133 MHz. I’m trying to figure out why this is happening.
You've completed your specifications. Could you provide additional details?
I would examine SATA cables next. Then attempt to execute a program that evaluates SSD read speeds for existing files (I can't recall the name). It might be that the issue isn't the cable, but a faulty SSD. You could try using another computer or a separate system with a bootable tool to image your current setup, format the drive, and restore it. This would help determine whether the problem lies with the system or the drive itself.
