There’s some uncertainty about whether this has been thoroughly tested scientifically. However, it’s important to avoid turning off the PC at the PSU until Windows has completely stopped—especially during crashes, which triggers safety mechanisms. Usually the system will either restart or freeze, requiring a manual shutdown. That’s why the power button is designed that way. This observation comes from seeing many cases where people misuse power controls or cut cables, leading to complaints about strange power or startup problems. It might also involve BIOS or motherboard issues.

Well, I have personally never seen a PC take damage from losing power or having the PSU flipped off while PC was running. But I've seen corrupted files and operating systems (sure, BIOS/firmwares can get corrupted too if doing an update while power is cut but this is a different situation than what is discussed) I'm not, however, saying the above to "disagree" with you. You make good points and you're probably correct. Anyhow, I would still look into a BIOS reset and/or Windows reinstall if I were OP. Also, now because it's an AMD build, make sure Memory Context Restore is enabled, so RAM training isn't run on each boot - actually what I was aiming at with my original comment, depending on what reply OP gave.
