It's not exactly what you're asking. This USB stick is meant for Windows installation only. I understand a 64GB USB for Windows can seem too big, but sometimes I format the Windows install files and use it as storage if needed. Do you think that makes sense? Well, these are the only items I require for gaming. A mouse, keyboard, headphones, and microphone (though I really wish my gaming experience wasn't affected by this issue, hehe). No other devices need to be connected. I've already tried similar solutions too, and I've been dealing with this problem for a while now. Writing down everything I've tried would take a lot of time. Right now I only have one monitor (144Hz), since the 280Hz model stopped working.

Planning to purchase a brand-new 240Hz monitor next week; I’ll make sure to update this once it’s in. When the new monitor arrives, I’ll also unplug the old 144Hz model with its input lag and reinstall Windows.

Updated 3: Trying to connect a new monitor didn’t succeed. Input lag persists. No other solutions seem available. The mouse remains sluggish, inconsistent, and slow. However, I observed something important—I gave my parents their 144Hz monitor, and the input lag disappeared! When I played CSGO, everything ran smoothly with no delays, and the mouse moved clearly. This makes me wonder how a setup can have input lag while others don’t, even though we share the same apartment and electricity.

No, the setup wasn't identical. The power outlet used was different from what was connected. The issue was related to that change in connection.

Have you attempted isolating components and checking them separately? It might be a basic USB controller that’s too busy.

Hello, after installing the new 360Hz monitor, I removed the old driver files from Windows and unplugged it. Then I connected the new monitor, installed its drivers, and set the refresh rate to 360Hz in Nvidia CP. When I played CSGO, the game ran smoothly with no input lag, and the mouse felt responsive. However, the movement remained sluggish compared to the old 144Hz display. I tried connecting my old 144Hz monitor to my parents' PC, and the lag disappeared entirely—mouse control became sharp and accurate. Some say input lag might stem from electrical issues, but it seems the power outlets themselves are functioning normally.

I've already attempted that. Over the past two years, I've tested various motherboards, CPUs, GPUs, RAM, and power supplies, but nothing has worked. Even moving to another apartment didn't help, and the electrician confirmed everything seemed fine.

It seems the issue might be linked to AMD chipset drivers. Consider removing them to check for improvement.

It's not the case. I experimented with various AMD chipset drivers, both old and new, but nothing helped. I've seen many discussions online where others face the same problem for years without a solution. Some suggest issues stem from power quality—bad grounding, interference, or EMI. Since this happened suddenly about three years ago, I've built two custom PCs, used them in three different apartments, with multiple monitors, keyboards, mice, and cables. I've updated drivers and tried different Windows versions, yet the problem persists.

Have you ever discovered a solution for your issue? I've experienced the same situation as you and have attempted various fixes like new hardware, electrician help, relocating within my home, etc. If anyone could solve it, I'd really appreciate hearing about it!
