Hello everyone, I've been experiencing sudden spikes in latency while playing FPS games. The delay jumps from around 20-30ms to 50-60ms every few seconds, sometimes causing noticeable lag or even teleporting me to different areas. This problem has been ongoing for about a week now. Since I'm in a college dorm, I can't change router settings. It's strange because it hasn't happened recently—maybe something changed recently. I've tested on other devices and the lag is consistent, though not as severe as what I'm facing. My motherboard is an Asus ROG STRIX B550-F. I've attached a short video showing these lag spikes. I've experienced the same problem before. Even without being in a dorm room, I wasn't facing this issue on PS4 at age 19. I tried both wired and Wi-Fi connections, but no one could assist me. I have solid internet speeds and fast uploads/downloads, and I can stream in 4K. Yet, lag spikes still occur during games. A video of my gameplay exists, but viewers can't clearly see the lag, though it's obvious when playing.
