Cable management can be tricky with a new build. You upgraded your components and installed a modern case, but the cables still look messy compared to the old setup. I tried using angled extensions from CableMod, but placement issues kept happening. Any suggestions on organizing or tidying them up? Your link looks helpful! Thanks for sharing.

It seems your motherboard had some issues there. My board has the USB connector on the right side, letting me connect through those ports. I also used the other header connections where your cable plugs in; they were smaller and bent easily. I’m not sure I’d change your setup otherwise—maybe shift it a bit left in that slot, but the cable might be too thick to bend. I still need to fix my GPU power cables, though here’s mine...

Mismatch occurred between case and motherboard. I own a B450 Tomahawk max but pair it with a Corsair 275R Airflow featuring five fans. The bottom cable routing is very near the ports, reducing clutter significantly. In my view, the cable organization is excellent.

Thanks for your message! Your older Mobo model matched well with the case, similar to yours. Are you worried about potential problems from bending in the USB header later on? Let me know!

Thanks for your message! I’m wondering if you might have switched the motherboard incorrectly. I understand this could sound confusing, but an MSI-to-MSI setup would keep the ports in a similar location. Lesson learned: I should double-check the angle of that USB header cable. Appreciate the feedback!

No, it will be fine. Bending is fine, just don't crimp it. U is good, V is bad

Jstudrawa shared her experience of reducing her card size from 970 to 2060, noting the cables now look smaller. She mentioned using an 8 + 6 pin setup before and is seeking advice on organizing the GPU cable. Thanks for your help!

I could adjust the GPU cables toward the left of the USB connector. That way they’d run straight up. Now you’re considering aftermarket add-ons.
